IS IT COMPULSORY TO MAINTAIN RG23 PART A (QUANTITY WISE) AND SINCE WE ARE MAINTING THE SAME BIN CARD WISE ?  KINDLY GUIDE ME

PLA - Personal Ledger Account

(RG 23 A & RG 23 C)

RG 23 A Part  I for Stock.

RG 23 A Part  II for credit.

Now this is self maintained records. no need to provide monthly basis when you debit details only with E.R.1. and AE Report (rule 57) for cenvat credit details.

hai.. can any body  give me information that what different kind of registered are maintained under excise &their use. & how they can be used in the process of audit .
