One of my friend has not filed gst since Jan 2019 due to no business, now it got cancelled
Now he wants to continues his business on same gst no, shall I apply revocation filing? if filing what is the fees to be charge by dept?
Pls suggest what shall I do

Can you update if I have filed revocation, what is the late fees?
There is no late fee for revocation. But you have all the pending returns till the date of cancellation. The returns may have late fee, interest on fee, tax liability etc. that should be paid. But approving or rejecting lies in the hands of the jurisdictional officer.
