Revised schedule vi - cash flow statement for unlisted comp

Hi Sankar,

Please note that even under earlier (old) schedule VI Cash flow format was NOT prescribed.

I believe one has to follow format given under AS 3 which deals with Cash flow Statement.

Others view on this matter are welcome.

Frm format point of view by query is addressed.

So far as applicability is concerned -

> Do u mean that unlisted companies are also required to present Cash flow as a part of Financials.

> Whether Revised Schedule VI is exempting unlisted companies from presenting Cash Flow statement as a part of annual accounts.

If your company T/O is above 50Cr. then you have to prepare CFS as per revised schedule VI.As regarding format,You can follow the same format as prescribed under Accounting Standard 3.

thanks Anil. ours is a level 1 enterprise from the borrowings point of view.So AS-3 is applicable.
