Revised return

Efiling 633 views 6 replies

I have filed ITR-1 for AY 13-14 within due date. But after filing i realized that as there is exempted income of Rs. 5000/- i need to file ITR-2 and i revised my return accordingly.
In revised return i forget to mention Rs. 10,000/- as Deduction U/s 80TTA. Can i revise my return once again?

Yes u can revise return.as per sec 139(5),you can file second revised return with in due date under section 139(1) i.e 30-sep both incase of company and individual whose accounts are to be audited under sec 44AB and 31-jul in case of individual, or notice under sec 142(1) provided there is omission or wrong declaration in first revised return

Absolutely i'm agree with Mr. Nuli

Make sure you send the correct ITR-V to CPC bangalore.

you should send all the ITR V's to CPC bangalore... that is original and two revised..

Is it needed to send the original return acknowledgement , when we have revised the return. As revised return replaces the original return. This is what I understand!

yes...u only need to send the revised ITR-V (Acknowledgement)..not the old one
