Dear Members, I would like to know if any new provision has been introduced in IT Act by which Return of Income is to be filed twice a year? Pl. brief.

Dear Komal,
Yet the I T Dept has not clarified about the half yrly forms. Its just a proposal.
The above scheme to be effective, will take time. Don't worry till IT Dept issues further clarification.

But it if u r planning to fill d form before new form is notified, U r again liable to fill a new form. so its better for u, not to suggest to ur clients/ for urself not to fill the form until d clarification come from CBDT regarding d same.
