Pan status having minor can file a ITR us 44AD

YES. minor can file ITR. however this situation is a bit weird as PAN is mostly alloted to majors only
bt he is major only pending matter is to change the pan status from minor to major
If he has turned major in the financial year for which you intend to file the return , then you can do so. Updating in minor PAN Card is only a procedural formality. Please proceed for filing.
