Retrenchment benefit tds applicable or not

we are give the full and final settlement to our employee ., 

the Retrenchment amount for Rs.280000 / - can anybody confirm is it applicable for TDS or not

Yes, it is part of salary. Check whether total salary plus this less exemption u/s 10(10B) is above taxable limit for tax deduction or not.
