17th Jan 2016, another result day, another embarrassment for ICAI. ICAI which is the premiere body for Accounting in India suffered another faux pas when the results for CPT and CA Final exams were announced. Students were made to struggle to access their result throughout the afternoon.
It is surprising that, even after so many years ICAI is not adept at handling and developing a basic IT Infrastructure.
It is important that the Council of ICAI takes note of this and saves the Institute, its members and the profession from further embarrassment.
