THERE IS NO NOTIFICATION FROM ICAI REGARDING RESTRICTION ON TRANSFER.
According to me there is a restiction of a max of 5 transfers. After which you will have to personally attend an interview with the institute and for the 6th time, if they find the reason satisfactory then only they will allow otherwise you will not get the transfer.
