Respected members, which one is perfect ?

Respected Colleagues/Members of ICAI/ICMAI,,

1) 4 months ago, Initially CPC issued a demand ( sec 245 ) of Rs 5990 relating to a.y 2010-11 & to be adjusted against a refund of Rs 19870/= a.y 2013-14 & that's why i am still waiting for balance refund amount .

2) But now suddenly CPC bangalore issued an order dated 24/08/2014 that 
" the above mentioned a.y ( i.e, 2010-11 ) will be henceforth rectified by your AO WBG/W/154/3 & u r requested to contact ur Jurisdictional AO for any rectification related issues ".

Questions:-
i) Do you think that I should go for an appeal before an ITO for vacate that demand relating to A.Y 2010-11 ?
 

ii) Do you think that i have to wait for few days for balance refund amount ? ( as a.y 2013-14 still under process )
