If you are resident then global income is taxable after considering the rebate of DTAA.

If you were non resident then it is not taxable
Any income earned outside India but remitted later on is non taxable for all

If your residential status while earning the income out side India is Resident and Ordinarily resident then it is taxable in India

Just understand the query first, it's income remitted later on. Same is not taxable in any manner.
You should under stand one more thing , it is taxable in the year of earning if he is resident in that year
