First congrats for completing CPT, second thing you have register for IPCC means you cant join articles now, after completing first group of IPCC only you can join for articles. still then you cant register for articles.all the best..

You must have good approach or recommendation to get articleship in big4...this is d ground reality..

also, u will have to undergo through interview etc. in these firms...

Do the chances of getting selected after interview increase if we go by reference . Is it like even if the interview is not that good but since a student has come through reference, they'll select an average student ? I ve had my interview for articleship through reference in KPMG in December, they said me to wait for my PCC Nov 08 results n i failed but i ve done my b.Com so is it like  if i ve come though reference they ll still select me ... ?

it is possible only through a high level reference......

I think first u will concentrate on IPCC Exam then u will get automatically good firms when u got good marks in exam

You dont need references to get into big 4.... if ur CV is good enough, you will get a call...

i dont agree wid Viral... big 4 will not even look at your CV if u not have any reference.....

you mean to say that each and every person who is working in big4's is through a reference.

You mean those who dont have any reference will not get th articles or a job even if ur academic qualifications are good enuf..hmm?

To some extent i agree with views of jagriti because as i have enquired & informed there is undue consideration in big 4s for C.A students who want to get in as articles.But for professional level they pick best from the with all deligence and procedure.
