Required: Mark Allocation & Portion Focus for CA Final

Hi Friends,

I would be attempting CA Final (Group 1) after quite a long break. it would be really really useful if someone could provide me details of the portions of emphasis by the institute over the past years.

I am looking for the preference order of the portions so that i can do a selective study with reasonable judgement.

The portions are too vast and taking up studies alongwith full time employment does not leave me with much time.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I have received the following preference on Advanced Audit from a post here in CAClub:

1. Code of Conduct - 16 marks.
2. Company Audit - 20 marks
3. Accounting Standard - 16 marks.
4. Bank Audit - 9 marks.
5. AAS/Guidance Notes - 9 marks
6. EDP Audit - 9 marks
7. Management Operation Audit - 9 marks
8. Cost Audit - 8 marks
9. Cooperative Society Audit - 8 marks
10. Stock Exchange Audit - 8 marks
11. Tax Audit - 9 marks
12. Insurance Audit. - 9 marks
13. Non corporate borrowers - 9 marks
14. Public Enterprise Audit - 9 marks
15. Proprietary Audit - 9 marks

Would you have something like this for the other subjects in Gr.1?

hi..icai is really now focussing on AAS 26 upto AAS34...so if u leave AAS's before 26 it really doesnt matter..bcoz nowadays only report writing and drafting are being asked..and keep focussed on AS...yeh group1 ki jaan hai...almost covering around 50 marks together in a/c's n audit...
