Well Himani, you can ask your HR to give you "Experience Letter" which will contain the details of your Employer certifying, that you worked for them in the ................ (name of the department) as ................................. (your designation) for the period .............. (20xx to 20x1). Sometimes it could be a service cum relieving letter confirmation issued by the employer.
Usually Experience letters are issued by an employer on termination of service by the employee. However, appreciation letters may have been given normally during the course of your performance appraisal or for achieving a milestone during a specific period of time. The same can be produced to your prospective employer when asked for.
