Reporting of FD Accounts

I have Fixed Deposits in multiple banks through single mobile app.

I don't have bank account in those banks.

Do I need to add these FD account in ITR?

Quick Summary
If you hold Fixed Deposits (FDs) through a single app without having a traditional bank account with those institutions, you don't need to list the individual FD account numbers in your Income Tax Return (ITR). However, it is crucial to report the total interest income earned from these FDs. Your Annual Information Statement (AIS) will detail all FDs and their associated interest, even though ITR forms primarily focus on savings and current account information.

You don’t need to provide FD account numbers in the ITR, but you must report the total interest income earned.

And the AIS would be listing all the FDs along with interest earned even though the ITR forms ask only for savings/current account details
