Reporting indian income in canadian return

Others 103 views 1 replies

Since my daughter has become an NRI this year, her Indian income will be treated as global income and added to her Canadian income.

My simple query  is: If her professional income was Rs. 200,000. Will this amount be added to her Canadian income or Rs. 100000 (50 % expenses allowed under sec. 44ADA).

Similarly, if her rental income is Rs. 100000; will this amount be included in her Canadian income or Rs. 70,000 (less 30% deduction?)
I shall be obliged for your reply to this simple query. Thanks

No, these deductions are as per IT act applicable in India. For Canadian tax return follow rules and regulations applicable in that country........
