Hello Freinds

I have received an Intimation u/s 143(1) specificing an additional demand to be paid.

However there is an error in the intimation. I have drafted an appropriate reply for the same. Whether the reply is to submitted to the concerned AO? If not, can you tell me to whom i am supposed to submit my reply.

principle is if some one writes to you then you have to reply to him that way Nttices surfaced . see sec 80 notices are generated under CPC, WHAT for! hope you got sir!

You need to apply u/s 154 to AO.

If mistake is appearing from records exa. like TDS Claim not given etc then file a request to rectify the same U/s 154 with Proper proof .

If you received intimation from CPC then you con file Rectification letter u/s.154 to the A.O. online fron the income tax website. letter u/s. 154 shall be cosiderable only if the mistake is apparent from record.

you can send a rectification request online by logging to your account in www incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in

For return filled mannualy, file rectification u/s 154 with concerned AO. For e-filled return, upload the rectification request online

if received from CPC, it can be done online by logging into ur account and then selecting rectification request. If received from dept appear in person and file a letter stating the facts.

I filed my ITR for 13-14 AY. My employer had deduct TDS from my salary but its not shown in my 26AS due to which credit was not given and Notice U/s 143(1) issued to me. I discuss with him he said just send your form 16 copy to CPC Banglore and ask about the usage for TDS amount .

what to do?
