Dear sir, how to book rent due in tally and the other entry when recd.

At the time of Payment

Due entry

To Rent Account ( Income)

At the time of Payment

Bank / Cash Account ------ Dr

To Party Account

If you want to book monthly exp then
Rent a/c Dr
to o/s rent a/c
at the time of payment
o/s rent a/c Dr
To bank a/c
