Dear Mr. Amit,

I think the compensation you get in the industry normally depends on the role for which you have applied and  how you perform in the interview i.e, how you convince the interviewer that you can deliver results. 15 % to 25 % jump from present salary is generally considered normal. Moreover in big organisatgions / MNC.s normally the salary payable to a position will be pre set and there wont be much scope for negotiations. There can be exceptions to above rule but they are rare.

I have a question on SOX. I believe KPI (key performance indicators) are set for each department as part of  SOX implementation. I request you to kindly let me know how these are set . Please send me the KPI.s samples for all the departments of the organization if you have them.

See U can't evaluate ur first pay on the experiance as its may change in the next few months as and when the co people came to know about ur skills and others. don't be feel sad that ur sal. is just 4L....... they pay such much in Bangalore also but there will be progrss in it by end of 6months..........
