I have recently qualified CA in november 2007 . i have total 4 years of industry experience out of which nearly 2.5 years in internal audit, system audits. Apart from that i have recenly completed SAP fico module from third pary in Guagaon as skill set advancement . Good knowledge of SOX, risk managenent ,indian SOX and US GAAP ( not a practical experience of implementing ) .

friends my dalima is that at present my CTC is 4.00lacs and after qualifying with esperience what is my markey value and what figure should i quote in interview in Gurgaon , Delhi NCR and Outside delhi ( like Bombay, pune , Banglore, hydedabad )

I am really confused ! kindly provided the solution ASAP ?

Dear Mr. Amit,

I think the compensation you get in the industry normally depends on the role for which you have applied and how you perform in the interview i.e, how you convince the interviewer that you can deliver results. 15 % to 25 % jump from present salary is generally considered normal. Moreover in big organisatgions / MNC.s normally the salary payable to a position will be pre set and there wont be much scope for negotiations. There can be exceptions to above rule but they are rare.

I have a question on SOX. I believe KPI (key performance indicators) are set for each department as part of SOX implementation. I request you to kindly let me know how these are set . Please send me the KPI.s samples for all the departments of the organization if you have them.

Hi Fdz,

See U can't evaluate ur first pay on the experiance as its may change in the next few months as and when the co people came to know about ur skills and others. don't be feel sad that ur sal. is just 4L....... they pay such much in Bangalore also but there will be progrss in it by end of 6months..........
