Due to some mistake in their software, my demand notice is stuck.Even after paying to the demand notice in the link provided, the demand notice not removed from e filing account inspite of several reminders sent on e-nivaran and cpgrams

This technology is creating too many problems. The software engineers are payment college engineers and the software they design is full of drawbacks. Take the case of windows 10 it gets too slow to work after two years because of software program drawbacks!

Samantha if your pc gets slow after 2 years then you have to fix your hard disk. please do some research on disk cleaning/wiping online.

nitin, i would suggest you to forget about the despicable portal and keep yourself calm and feel unthreatened.
just keep a copy of tax payment challan with you.

whenever you receive a letter or notice from an authority, just show them the challan and they wont bother you again.

else, if you try to mess with their portal and system then your efforts will be in vain.

Don't mind about IT website. just keep the copy of tax paid challaan with you that's enough.

DEAR SIR/MADAM,

I AM A SR. CITIZEN. PAN-AAHPP3452A FOR ASS. YEAR 2020-21,(F.Y.2019-20)

I HAVE ALREADY PAID MY DEMAND ON 18-3-21 RS. 28510.00 ALSO REFLECTED IN FORM 26AS. CHALAN NO.30318 BSR 0231433. THEREFORE THE DEMAND NOTICE SHOULD NOT BE RAISED.. AGAIN PAID ON 19-4-21 RS.11820. IN THE LINK PROVIDED IN THE DEMAND NOTICE ITSELF.ALSO REFLECTED IN FORM 26AS-CHALAN NO. 78277 BSR-0231433. THEREFORE REFUND RS.28510 applicable-WHICH AMOUNT BECOMES EXTRA AND SECONDLY-REFUND NOTICE NOT REMOVED IN NEW PORTAL-EVEN THOUGH RESPONSE SUBMITTED ON OLD PORTAL THAT DEMAND IS PAID. AND -SEVERAL REMINDERS SENT ON E-NIVARAN /CPGRAMS-TO RECTIFY THE DEFECT,-PLEASE REMOVE THE NOTICE AND GIVE ME REFUND.

(ALSO SENT THE HARD COPY OF CHALAN (and relevant pages of form 26as)BY SPEED POST TO CPC-BANGLURU ON 29-4-21 REACHED THEM-ON 1-5-21.) NO ACTION FROM THEM AS OLD PORTAL CLOSING DOWN. BUT NOW again in the new portal they have again shown outstanding demand of Rs.11820 and also charged interest wef 19 th April, when actually all taxes paid twice and reflected in my form 26 -as also. This is all because of not taking any action even after paying all-the due taxes. They CPC , not even doing the rectification filed on 1st April itself. Even CPGRAMS officer repled me that they have manually posted it in my account one month back, but still actual effect is not observed in my account.(PAN)
