u can remove the goods for re- manufacture,
if the goods after re-manufacture is a diff identity than the existing goods, then issue an invoice in self name, and pay duty, again take credit on the strength of same this process is capitive consumption.
if the goods are same, and needed to get re-manufacture due to long shelf life, or due to some maufacturing defect detected, and needed to get dismentaled and then re-errected after removal of defect, then u have to make a note in DSA regarding the process to be taken and date/ time of taking the goods in re-manufacture, expected time to be taken. and return back the same in same dsa after taking reference to the previous entry.

No, there is no such notification for re manufacture, as there may be some issue in return filing if your period of re-manufacture will take more then one e-return period, i.e u would have to show the withdrawl in return. ( to safeguard the issue returns would not deduct / add the goods from DSA)
to safeguard the issue, write to your R/O stating the fact that due to technical reasons u have to withdraw the materials for re-manufacture with specific details and time to be taken.
another process is to send the goods for testing, repair, reconditioning , here also the goods send would stay in DSA
in a nutshell whatsoever process u have to addopt, would not reduce the DSA quantity without payment of duty.
captive consuption is notificed by 258/92-96-CX dated 30-10-1996

simply make excie invoice in the name captive consumption under tariff act 67/1995 CE mentioned qty only , and the qty from RG-1 , value not require , I mean 0 value. after doing necesary processing activity , make production entry again and make entry in RG-1 . Othewise take permission from Commissioner and wait.
