For ay2020-2021 I have submitted itr for my colleagues no one received rebate u/s 89a. I thought it is fault at my end but one of my colleague who himself file itr didn't receive rebate also. Is there any change in this section.

File form 10e from income tax portal

This sec only for salary arrears. 10e applicable. no changes . 87a- below 4.9lakh salary and 89a -salary arrears

This is a software problem of Income Tax Department, Software update to 2.0 so all 10E reject.
after successfully updating software ITR will be reprocess, after that consider 10E.
No problem.. wait and watch
