Hi All,

I currently waiting for my IPCC results. I cleared my CPT in 2014. Before that I passed my 12th from CBSE board in Science stream(67%) in 2012.

Last year in 2014 I joined distance learning BCOM course offered by Annamalai University. I have just completed one year.

Some of my friends tell me that distance BCOM will not be allowed in many companies. Is this true? I have already wasted one year. I need some good advice. Please loo at my profile and help.

Companies ? I didn't get what is your query excetly. I am assuming that, you are trying to ask after passing IPC and get articleship in firm. and many of the firms are not allowed to do other courses while you are doing articleship. Yes, It may be possible..it's depend upone your principal. Generally if you are doing and working as per the rule then he/she can denied to you doing 1 additional course. However, you have to take permission of institute by fillup form 112 at the time of registration of articleship. As per this rule you can do 1 additional course with articleship subject to T&C. Download & read form 112. It's available online.

Dear rakesh....there is not much value for b.com even in regular college hence don't worry.. Good thing is doing by dist edn And focus for IPCC once u cleared all degrees are same. Further u can look for master degree in regular reputed institution if u are willing,.raghavan

B.com as is trending is just another degree.you just need a minimum graduation so in my opinion these days any degree from any university is fine. Focus's on CA All the best :-)

People need deliverance not paper certificates just be worth it . I have many friends working in corporate companies with distance education degrees.This is a false notion.
