Helloo everyone.. Had filed individual ITR for the FY 2018-19 on 22-09-2020 by paying interest and penalty U/s 234F, and the total income is 497870.
Its been invalidated because of spelling mistake of name in ITR and as per CBDT dept. Now while revising it says that "INVALID ACKNOWLEDMENT NO".. what should be done?
2. Should i file fresh return again? Should i pay interest and penalty again? If yes how much need to pay?

Yes sir, it is invalidated. And got the mail from dept. stating that your return is invalidated. No rectification link is available. Rectification time is lapsed it seems. What should be done sir?
I had called the dept. they are telling to file fresh return. Sir my question is should i pay interest from original filing date to current date? Or only till original filing date? (where i paid while filing original return)

If you are filing a fresh return than you are required to pay interest till current filing date.
But according to me it's not justified to invalidated return completely just due to spelling mistake of name as per ITR and CBDT database.
