Hello guys when I am trying to register an individual on the income tax portal it's asking for a membership number (issued by ICAI) and it's mandatory.
is it a glitch or govt made it mandatory?

If you are registering yourself under the CA category, then it will ask for membership number.

There are two types of registration
1. Udin number
