Registrations required for freelancer

You are agree to provided or to be agree to provided the Taxable services in taxable area and you are having income exceed Rs. 10 Lakhs and you are also received the taxable services as Reverse Charge Mechanism then you have to register with Service Tax Dept.

Further In this regard you are having other observation plz forward the same.

Thanks Harendra ji for your guidance. So I need Service Tax registration only after my turnover crosses 10 lacs for this financial year or should I get it now itself?

Also any other registrations are required? I am working alone, no employees. My expenses will be office rent, internet & telephone, etc.

Do I register myself for Professional tax? I am working in Hyderabad.

Sir,

In this regard there is no need for any other registration but in your state Professional Tax is applicable then you aslo need registered with them. Plz check very carefully in this reagrd.

Simple asked the firm or company whichever you provided such services there is applicable such tax.
