I want to register my firm as a sole properitor firm. i deal as immigration consultant and travel agent in haryana. please let me know necessary formalities and documentary work required. Is there separate procedure to get the name of firm registered only.....?
Submit Application in Form No. ST-1 alongwith attested copies of your PAN Card, address proof, rent agreement copy in case of rented property, if property is owned by you - your ownership proof etc. in triplicate in the Service Tax Deptt. having jurisdiction of your area. Once you submit complete papers, you will normally be allotted ST Number within 6-7 days time.
