I want to know the Procedure for the Registration for Works Contract Tax in Gujarat and the Firm already Possess the VAT No.
So What will be the procedure after obtaining the VAT?

why there is a necessity for regestering under works contract tax when you have already registeredunder VAT with Local Authorities .In case of Bills pertaining to Works Contract you have to deduct WCT and give the return and after realisation of WCT Cheque by the treasury within 15 days You issue WCT Certificate for the tax deducted
