Registration for Govt Dept
My friend is working in excise department of district collectorate and he wants to take registration for his department whether the registration can be taken if so what are documents required.

If department is doing any Outward supply need to be registed as Regular Dealer (In term of section 22 of CGST Act)
And
if Department is availing services required to deduct TDS -GST as per section 51 is liable to compulsary obaton registration as a tax deductor in term of section 24.
Regular registration can be Grant on PAN .
Regisration under Tax Deductor can obtain on TAN
And
if Department is availing services required to deduct TDS -GST as per section 51 is liable to compulsary obaton registration as a tax deductor in term of section 24.
