I have a branch a branch in tamilnadu doing taxable supply exceeding 20lakhs
I have a branch in Karnataka (windmill) supply energy to karnataka govt which is exempted.. whether I have obtain registration for Karnataka branch??

If both branches are registered under same PAN and one brannch is registered so it is mandatory to register all the branches whether your services are exempted or taxable, doesn't matter.

If ur supply exceeds in year 20lakh all over india basis than it mandatory to register in all state where u carry the busness unit .
