Last year we crossed the SSI exemption limit of Rs. 1.5 crore in march and had to take an central excise registeration. This year again we will cross the SSi exemption limit. At present our turnover has reached around 1.1 crore and we are still enjoying SSI exemption. In regards to the efiling of return and availing of SSi exemption we tried to do the same online but everytime we try and complete it shows an error code of 500. Henceforth we had to file the ER3 manually and had given an declaration for availing of SSI exemption also in hard copy. but the department has not uploaded the same electronically. henceforth what should we do for filing of the return for the next quarter.
