Regarding Transfer of my articles

i had enquired once n it ws like this-

If u hv any other reason thn medical / trf of job of parents thn u hv to draft a letter abt ur problem n attach all proofs of such problem as in ur case ur father medical reports n ur proof tht u work at some other place, etc. n send tht to delhi council members n they wil approve it n later on ur trf wil b accepted bt as recently heard tht trf is allowed once without any reason so jst check abt it more as i m not able to receive any details n also plz let me know if u got to know anythng abt it..... hope my knowledge abt trf can help u.....

Sneha, your information about one time transfer is right but incomplete. One time transfer has been permitted only to those cases in which application for termination i.e. Form 109 has been RECEIVED by the Institute On Or Before 11th July 2009 and NOT after that.

Now about Arun, I agree with the suggestions of Sneha. I personally have enquired many a times with the Institute and got the replies that genuine cases are being considered for transfer. In case your application gets rejected, you can always meet the President if you belongs to Delhi (as He usually sits here only).

I agree with u Gautam bt i need to tell u something more tht as per High Court decision we Articles can take 1 transfer unconditionally but our ICAI is not accepting that decision & not allowing us to take 1 time transfer. So my suggestion is we shuld bring awarness among students that we students are deprived from our right & so we shuld fight for it.... Do something 4 this as its our right & once High Court has approved ICAI can't refuse unless contradict verdict is given by Hon.Supreme Court so till any contradict verdict comes we students should get our right.....

So lets bring awarness among all the students........

Sneha I am not convinced with the information that You are providing w.r.t. decision of High Court. If there is really any decision, please quote it. As per my knowledge such amendment had been brought in by Vice- President of ICAI but the President refused to approve that and hence it was not effected finally. So I think all these rumors (Sorry if I m wrong) are originating from that amendment only. I had also been in touch with the Vice- President and he assured that the amendment will come into effect as a new President is elected. But till that time, Sorry... Still if You think that there is any such decision of high Court, please provide a reference of that. Then we together will try to do as You are thinking of..

hiii..could any body tell me whether there is any other solution possible in the hands of articles other that that medical reasons, shifting of parents , industrial training and secondment basis,......

Taking transfer is very difficult task with the reasons allowed by the Institute. Then how can you think of taking it by some other reasons. Apart from the reasons mentioned by you, only a few other reasons are also there like employer surrenders COP, Death of employer, etc.. All these are almost impossible to have as reasons.. Isnt??? So you are left with only the few that you have mentioned.. Or the other option is to wait till next announcement but the wait can be longer.. So be prepared. One more thing, if you get any other reason, let us know.. There are many looking for that.. Good Luck..

actually i jst heard that the institute has allowed one transfers for the articles who r in their 2nd yr of internship period.....will please kidly confrim   ..whethr its true or just a rumour?????

There is nothing like one time transfer to ANY ONE without the cause. All these are rumors only. I am very sure about this as I am very much in touch with the Institute in announcements related to transfer. So think for any other way or wait till the Elections..
