still not there is any reduction in articles training period ,for PCC 3& 1/2 and for IPCC 3 years.
i also have no idea for this.
what new shall be in feb 10?
Can any one give crystal clear information regarding when articleship period will be reduced

i have mailed to institute regrading articleship reduction. i got reply as
Dear Student,
The Institute constituted a Study Group for considering issues relating to permitting CPT students to appear in CA Final Exam during the last six months of their articles and reduction in the period of articles for PCC students from 3½ years to 3 years on 1st July, 2009. The Group’s recommendations and approval of the Council are awaited. Thereafter, if need be, the regulation might also require amendment for which approval of the Central Government would also be required.
