One of return for A.Y.2010-11 was filed and the signed copy itr-v was sent , now the status shows
"Filing date has exceeded the Due date"
so is this return accepted ? and if not then what course of action need to be taken ?

you may have forgot to send the ITR V within the time presribed on that document, so the CPC did not admitted the submission of ITRV
its non submission of return.
