Hlo everyone.
I want to know that today I sent a request of opening demat account on samco securities ltd . I have attached the bank details but now I want to know that if I am not trading in future whether the annual maintenance charges is deducted from bank account.
Documents like aadhar and other required documents are not attached and also their is a requirement to sent documents of application physically . If I will not submit documents whether the application is accepted or annual charges deduct or not ??
please guide....

Dear Pooja,
Demat account is totally different from your bank transaction. Demat Accounts holders companies take their own charges according to their pera meters. Once Demat account get active, after any transaction either by money transfer or by activated getting otp and get login by your received password, charges will apply as per their policies but can not get deduct by you bank account.

Without your aadhar and pan card, no one can open your Demat account.
These days almost all demat companies providing account with no charges facility but they take commission at the time of buy and sell.

I get the OTP only for email verification and I also put a password at the time of filing online application .Does it means account is activate ?
If you are able to online access your Demat account, that means your account is active
