Quick Summary
This discussion addresses how to handle changes to a previously issued sales invoice. When an invoice amount needs to be increased after it has been finalised, the correct procedure is to issue a debit note for the difference. A credit note is used for decreasing an invoice amount. In this case, a debit note for £45,000 should be issued to reflect the increase from £120,000 to £165,000.

Sir! You should Issue Debit Note because your amount is increased compare to previous invoice!
You cannot change the Invoice already being Issued .
The Debit note & Credit note need to be issue for Increasing the value of Such Invoice.

Hence you need to issue the Debit Note for rs 45000/- & let the Invoice value to be remain as 120000/-.
Thank u members for reply.
