Regarding Input tax

Hi everyone, one of client is wlliling to start Banana chips manufacturing firm. He is not getting any input from banana vender (i.e. Unregistered purchase).

1. what is the rate of gst?
2. As he is not getting any input, he is very difficult to pay gst. What is to be done??
