it is partnership firm. actually we had purchased car in the name of firm we had paid gst on car. in this regard we have to claim input or not.

Input can no be claimed on any motor vehicle having seating capacity of less than 13 person.
You can not claim ITC on Car, as it's blocked u/s 17(5) of CGST Act, 2017.

No you cannot claim ITC since Motor Vehicle is a part of the Negative list item under GST.
Input Tax Credit ( ITC ) on Motor Vehicles is specifically BLOCKED under Section 17(5) of the CGST Act 2017.
