My father in law have a workshop in west Bengal. The machineries in workshop were purchased some 15-20 years back. He expired 5 years back. The workshop was closed after that. Now we decided to sell those old machineries only to a person from nearby Bihar state. Please suggest what are the tax we have to paid for this transaction. Does any tax is to be paid for interstate transfer.

Yes if the Machinery is sold for more than 20Lacs need to deposit the GST.
