Hello,everybody,i have cleared my pe-II exam in Nov-2007,i have also started my articleship from feb-2008,i want to know when i will be eligible for appearing in the final exam.Whether it will be may-2010 or nov-2010,please help me.

Your 1st attempt will be due in Nov, 2010 i.e. after completion of 2 and 1/2 years of Articleship. As the last attempt for CA. Final under the old scheme is in Nov, 2009 for which eligibility is completion of 2 years of articleship, but as you have to shift in the new scheme under which eligibility is completion of 2 and 1/2 years of articleship, so in your case it will be Nov, 2010. If any subsequent happening has taken place under which eligibility has been reduced to 2 years under the new scheme please let me know about that.

Frnds, I am a student of CA ( Final, new course ) I have passed PE-II in november 2007 & I have started training in January 2008. Can anybody tell me when my attempt is due. The regis. letter which i have received says that attempt will be due during last six months of training ( i.e. Nov 2010 ). I have heard that some process is going on to make the attempt in May 2010.Is there any notification issued by ICAI. Kindly help me.
