regarding debit note received from supplier

recently i have received a debit note from my buyer due to excess qty supplied by him .Will i get additional input tax credit under gst for the additional taxable value ?

what I get understand, you have purchased few products and you got excess quantity mistakenly for that reason seller issues debit note for that. Now if Seller charging you extra money and GST for those extra quantity separately other than the normal invoice, so you can take GST ITC. Otherwise you only be eligible to take credit which is mentioned in the original invoice.
