Regarding CWA -- Please can any one???

I advise you the following books

For Financial Accounting - Hanif & Mukherjee

For Law - Munish Bhandari

For Direct Tax - Singhania

For Indirect Tax - VS Datey

Reg. other subject let our seniors advise you. In addition to above books, you MUST complete d practical problems given in cwa inst. material and also the RTP given in icwai.org link for all the relevant subjects. And in last if you hv time refer scanners. But as you mentioned your attempt is in Dec10, u have very less time and a lot to study from above books (if u hv not yet started ur study), so i think you have to spend more time to complete all those said above. More time for preparation is needed from your end, otherwise its a difficult task for u to appear in Dec10, as per my advise u go for one group with full knowledge. All the best.

Can you all provide few notes on Direct Taxation, Commercial Law & Auditing, Financial Accounting, Indirect Taxes, Cost Accounting.

First you try to complete the RTP given in icwai website and be full fledge in those problems and do problems from icwa study material, because most of the times in exams institute is giving problems or objective type questions from study material itself, u can refer previous paper to confirm youself. After tat u refer above books. All the best.

ya i vl also say just institutes notes are sufficient if u just clear the exam ...yes 4 getting gud marks u can go through other books as well...
