ASSESSMENT PROCEEDINGS IS COMPLETED AGAINST ASSESSE. AND DEMAND HAS BEEN RAISED AGAINST ASSESE. THE ASSESSE HAS FILE APPEAL AGAINST DEMAND. BUT AFTER FILING APPEAL REQUEST ASSESSED DIED. WHETHER LEGAL HAIR IS LIABLE TO COMPLETE THE APPEAL PROCEEDING OR FOR THE PAYMENT OF DEMAND.....? WHTHER ANY ACTION CAN BE TAKEN AGAINST LEGAL HAIR IF ANY STEPS HAS BEEN NOT TAKEN BY HIM AFTER DEATH...?

1. For protection of the right of  the deceased assessee, its advisable that the proceeding be attended by any legal heir.

2. Not against any legal heir, but over the property of the deceased. (which in other words, affect the rights of the heirs)
