i am about to complete my articleship on 14-4-2011..wats the procedure to get articleship completion certificate only form 108 is enough and as i have an attempt in may11..its not possible to file the required forms with icai...iam planning it after exams i.e. after 16-5-2011...any additional requirements to be complied with as it is delayed by one month... pls suggest...

No additional procedures but see to it that you wont miss the deadlines
form 108 with ur full document i.e certificate from 10th
If u r submitting the from after 30 days of completion of articleship, then a fine is levied by ICAI. You have give a Demand Draft of the fine amount. Submit the DD with your 108 itself.
In addition to that, also submit a letter explaining the reason of delay and requesting ICAI to condone the delay. This letter will be from the student. You can very well mention a reason like preparing for CA Final and appearing for the same. Preferably print this letter on your firm's letter head and take stamp and signature of your principal.
