Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies Section 269ST of the GST Act regarding cash payments. If you're a GST holder who made sales totalling Rs 2,59,500 in a year, receiving payments in instalments of Rs 10,000, you are generally not liable for penalties. Penalties under Section 269ST are typically triggered if a single transaction exceeds Rs 2 Lakhs or if cash payments on a single day exceed Rs 2 Lakhs, or if a single day's cash payment exceeds Rs 10,000. However, if the total sales were for a single transaction split into smaller bills, penalties may apply.

No, problem you have been received cash upto 200000 rupees in a single day and cash payment should be 10000 rupees in a single day
No penalty will attract in ur case
Sir the above said sales was made to a single person/ firm and amount received from the single person .
If bills issued by u are for separate transactions then no problem. but if a single transaction of 259500/- and bills are splitted in smaller amount, then penalty shall attract.
