Do PM all questions... It is must... In exams we can't attempt 100 marks in AMA.. just to focus to correct attempt of 70-80
thank you for these suggestions
1. In AMA you get big questions which can eat up your exam time a lot. Therefore, you need to make your first reading of the question, the LAST one. For this, first read the REQUIRED part of question and then start reading the facts of question. In this way, you are more focused on what is asked rather than thinking all the options.
2. You need to practice a lot of questions and once you are through with your first preparation, don't go by chapter then, just try practicing questions from different chapters one after the other. Because as you know, in exam questions would be asked from different chapters and you will have to answer them one after the other.
3. Try to attend 90 marks, so that you are safe. Practice PM questions. Categorize the questions as per their importance so that you are left with fewer questions when u do next time.

Concepts are easy in AMA but challenging part is to understand the language of questions.

So first of all our concepts much be absolutely clear and then solve/practice sums to build an ability to understand the language.

Hi Pulkit, I can answer your questions as follows:

1. Initially when you are doing it for first time the first problem is that it's very difficult to solve problem at once without referring to the solution and so progress is very slow. So what one should actually do is first study the flow of solutions and try to understand the pattern of solving a problem.

2. If someone is doing old video classes of Sanjay Agarwal please watch all the classes properluy without increasing playback speed even if you find it boring and slow.

3. The variety of questions in Costing part is immense and so it is not possible to find identical questions, particularly in chapters 1 and 2 each and every question should be done.

4. OR part is fairly easy but highly time consuming so lots of practice needed, identical questions can be skipped.

5. Speed is one of the key factors for this paper so racing against the clock is very much needed once the person has got a good grasp over the subject.

6. This has always been a lengthy paper in exam so even with good speed its very difficult to answer more than 90 marks, for people with normal speed 75-85 marks can be answered.

7. One of the most important things is that reading the question before answering first is of utmost importance so single line can be skipped while doing a question. In fact the information and figures which we use to solve problems can only be identified by a thorough reading of the question itself.

Pm me if you have further questions.

thank you all of you who took their valuable time to give such valuable advice ☺

@ aritra old classes are still viable?

problem is that paper is always so lengthy, max we cant attend is 70 marks paper.

solving entire PM is not a joke, you will loose courage if you left it in middle.  if you give so much time for AMA, when you will prepare DT, IDT?

there is no solution to this issue, you have to find it on your own, dont go for someone other's technique, each person has own strategy to prepare.
