Hi Pulkit, I can answer your questions as follows:
1. Initially when you are doing it for first time the first problem is that it's very difficult to solve problem at once without referring to the solution and so progress is very slow. So what one should actually do is first study the flow of solutions and try to understand the pattern of solving a problem.
2. If someone is doing old video classes of Sanjay Agarwal please watch all the classes properluy without increasing playback speed even if you find it boring and slow.
3. The variety of questions in Costing part is immense and so it is not possible to find identical questions, particularly in chapters 1 and 2 each and every question should be done.
4. OR part is fairly easy but highly time consuming so lots of practice needed, identical questions can be skipped.
5. Speed is one of the key factors for this paper so racing against the clock is very much needed once the person has got a good grasp over the subject.
6. This has always been a lengthy paper in exam so even with good speed its very difficult to answer more than 90 marks, for people with normal speed 75-85 marks can be answered.
7. One of the most important things is that reading the question before answering first is of utmost importance so single line can be skipped while doing a question. In fact the information and figures which we use to solve problems can only be identified by a thorough reading of the question itself.
Pm me if you have further questions.
