if the income from post office Savings account is 20,000 and if I claim 3500 u/s 10(15) as an exemption in IFOS, 16,500 will be taxable... so while calculation the GTI can I claim 10,000 out of 16,500 u/s 80TTA? so that total claim is 13,500?

you can take credit of both section means 13500 in case of individual .
if the income from post office savings which is in the nature of time deposit then you cannot claim 80TTA
time deposit will be called recurring or fixed deposit that can not be claimed u/s 80TTA but the query was related to saving account on that basis I have answered that. if any deviation in your question plz write again .
If the income from post office savings from 2 branches i.e. 20000 and 10000 can I claim 3500/- u/s 10(15) twice???
