Dear sir/mam
I have filled my income tax return in old tax regime in which income tax department given intimation no demand no refund .
after that i have again file revised return in new tax regime after that we are received intimation (143(1) tax calculated in old tax regime after that we received demand notice.
now request to you please help me how to my demand nullify.

The option to avail of the new tax regime has to be exercised before the due date of filing the ITR u/s 139(1). Since you haven't exercised the option within the stipulated time, therefore, the CPC has calculated the tax as per the old regime.
Hence, CPC is correct.
