Case of a construction company:
I had taken advance against booking of flat on which I had collected Service tax in the financial year 2013-14 & 2015-16. Now the booking has been cancelled and advance money received has been refunded. Can I claim refund of the tax paid earlier ? If yes, how ?

The incidence of tax has passed on to the customer, the refund can be claimed by him. you should have returned the amount after deducting the tax amount already paid by you to the Govt.
